Biography

American artist Bonifacio Luna was born in Harlingen, Texas. His passion for art began as a young man. He would spend his free time sketching cartoon characters, Marvel superheroes, cars, and monster trucks. He joined the U.S. Army in 2008 and medically retired in 2022. Previously deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, which involved a total of four combat tours, he was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Impressionism and art helped Bonifacio Luna channel his feelings, de-stress, and cope with such challenging conditions.
